Offically I am 8 weeks and 3 days post op. After going to my consultation November 2016 and meeting with Stephanie and Dr.Swift who made me feel so comfortable, I was SOLD! I took the next few months to save , I then paid for my surgery and got $500 off which is a special Dr.Swift had. On March 28,2017 I got my surgery under local anesthesia which took about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Im not going.... I had an amazing experience with Dr. Swift and his team at his practice on the UES. I had been thinking about getting the surgery for about a year and had visited several doctors around NYC for consultations. After speaking with Dr. Swift, I knew that I trusted him to do a great job. I had a small procedure done to the right side of my labia minora to correct the symmetry. The whole process... For many years, I have been self conscious of my labia. Growing up, a number of life experiences have solidified my anxiety over my larger-than-average nether regions. My mother had told me it was "ugly". Even after failed attempts at ignoring her, deep down I knew I felt the same. Conceptually, I do believe that every labia is unique--there is no "normal" labia--but nonetheless, I have always... Ever since I was seven, my left labia has always been a bit bigger than the right side, and to be honest, I was going to perform labiaplasty on myself because it bothered me too much. And I didn't even know that this existed until I spontaneously search for other women with the same problem. I was hesitant on paying $2K+ on this surgery because I am only 19, full-time college student, and... Dr.Swift is very professional that's what made me feel comfortable with him. My favorite thing about the whole experience is that through out your concerns and questions you can tell Dr.Swift really cares about his patients. His professional opinions are comforting you can tell he really is an expert in this field. He assured me that having labiaplasty is normal and nothing to feel embarrassed about. I'm truly grateful that everything turned out better than I expected and I wouldn't wish to have any other Doctor. Stephanie was also great, very pleasant. I would recommend Dr.Swift to anyone considering this surgery.
